Elephant Cafe

奶油青醬鮮蝦面

台北市敦化南路一段238巷1號1樓

Recommendation for first-timers: *** (out of 5)
Price range: ** (out of 5)
Probability of return: Maybe

Initially thought this would be one of those nice themed-restaurants. But as it turns out, I don't see much reason in calling it "Elephant Cafe", except for the cute looking elephant outside the restaurant. I guess you can't really do much with elephant decorations inside either. Really liked their food though. The sandwhich we had was so thick and appetizing. The spaghetti was awesomely delicious too, different from the usual sauce base you have. Check out their facebook- there're plenty of mouthwatering dishes there.

Yilan Snacks @ YiShunXuan 奕順軒

If you are looking to purchase some Yilan snacks, or if you are a huge bread lover, this is the place you MUST come to. The bread above is simply awesome, and you can also purchase several different types of snacks from there. We sampled a number of them and will be ordering online before we head home. They will deliver to where you are and it's free if you spend above a certain amount. A great find!

Look out for their purple sign. Sorry for the blur photo. I was standing in the middle of the narrow road and traffic was crazy that night. Haha.

This place isn't easy to find, but if you follow the map carefully and with some patience, you will be well rewarded. Highly recommended!!
